Cold Email Campaign Planner

Estimate how many prospects you need to contact, how many emails to send per day, and how many email accounts your campaign may need.

Cold email is simple in the same way flying a helicopter is simple: technically, there are only a few controls. Use them badly, though, and suddenly everyone is shouting.

Example output

Target meetings 10/mo
Prospects needed 1,667
Emails per day 84
Sending accounts 3

Outbound planner

Calculate your cold email volume

Enter your target and expected conversion rates. The planner will work backwards to estimate the number of prospects, replies, positive replies, meetings, daily send volume, and sending accounts needed.

Note: This planner estimates new-prospect sending volume. If your campaign includes follow-ups, your total daily sends may be higher and should be managed carefully.

Why this matters

Cold email works backwards from meetings, not hope.

A lot of cold email campaigns fail because the maths was never done. The company wants ten meetings, sends a few dozen emails, gets two polite replies, and concludes that outbound is dead.

In reality, outbound depends on volume, targeting, deliverability, messaging, follow-up, and conversion rates. This planner gives you a rough monthly target so you can see what the campaign actually requires.

How LeadPerk helps

Need the list, messaging, and campaign built?

LeadPerk helps B2B companies build cold email campaigns from the ground up: target account research, lead lists, messaging, sequencing, follow-up, and appointment setting.

If this planner says you need hundreds or thousands of prospects per month, the next challenge is not simply sending more emails. It is sending the right emails to the right people with a reason to reply.

FAQ

Cold email campaign planner FAQs

How does this cold email calculator work?

It works backwards from your target meetings per month. It uses your expected reply rate, positive reply rate, and booking rate to estimate how many prospects you need to contact.

What is the difference between reply rate and positive reply rate?

Reply rate is the percentage of prospects who reply at all. Positive reply rate is the percentage of those replies that show interest, ask for more information, or move the conversation forward.

Why does the planner estimate email accounts?

Because sending too much from one inbox can damage deliverability. Splitting volume across properly configured sending accounts can help keep campaigns more controlled. The calculator uses your safe daily send assumption to estimate the number of accounts.

Can LeadPerk run cold email campaigns for my business?

Yes. LeadPerk can help with campaign strategy, list building, messaging, email outreach, LinkedIn follow-up, and appointment setting for B2B companies.
